Imagine a world where you make no mistakes, everything is a gift, and everyone has your back. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well it’s not, it’s Improv Comedy–and now you can try it too!
Improv at The Artist Studio, teaches basic improv skills like yes-anding, listening and support, and demonstrates how to apply these skills to everyday truths in order to create memorable characters and hilarious scenes. Is being a comedian not really your thing? This workshop is for you too! The tools used to improvise a scene are great for team building, idea generating, problem solving, upping confidence, and finding creative ways to live your life. And to top it all off, it’s just plain fun! We’ll warm up, work through exercises, and learn improv games. No experience is necessary. Some material may be unsuitable for performers under 16.
